If you get a $5000 donation from a demolition contractor/landfill owner, the answer to our vacant housing problems is to tear them down. If you are a neighborhood activist who bought 4 properties for under $60K and fixed them all up, you have a different approach. Our city can’t catch up with our 29 year backlog on demolition.
