Elections, not auctions

Gary Leitzell beat an incumbent with $17K to her $120K. You wouldn’t spend $450K on a job that pays $48K a year? Well you would if you were Nan Whaley. We have to find better ways to inform voters and discuss our issues. In the past I limited my campaign to $10k – but, this time I’m going to raise it to $25K, there is no reason we should allow the incumbents to buy their way back in.  Campaign finance reform is essential if our country is going to survive.
