Al wants to know why we have rusty backboards?

Al’s Smokehouse and Cafe on E. Third Street is the place to go for late night eats. On the weekends, they’ll be serving up ribs and the Shamburger until 5am.

    Sadly, Al supported our kids- but Dayton didn’t support Al – from the Dayton Daily news:

    Mere months after it opened, a late-night, downtown restaurant is closed.Al’s Smokehouse Cafe’s last day at 140 East Third St. was Oct. 5, according to Karen Gagel.Gagel and her husband Fred own the Gagel Building and rent space for the restaurant to Al Shamburger.
